Blue Overdrive Pedals

FANTASTIC pedal! Perfect balance between Tube Screamer tones and the BOSS Blues Driver.

You'll need to fiddle with it to get it to sound just right to your ears, but once you set it, everything will sound better. I use this to boost leads on my OD channel and to push my clean channel on my mesa/boogie single recitifer, and it sounds lovely through my Fender Champion 100. If you're on the fence, just dive right in!Only issue is that it feels slight cheap, so go easy on it. Don't stomp too hard. Also, be mindful of the gain knob when hitting the footswitch.

You may unintentionally turn it. Perhaps it'll best fit on a board sideways? This pedal is not over-hyped. There are some excellent demos of this pedal on YouTube. Listen to them with good headphones as they are accurate. This is one of the finest overdrive I've played through.

A great, low-gain overdrive may be the most obvious choice here. And no overdrive is as famous to today's blues aficionados as the. Run sackboy run cheat

I don't own $300 plus overdrive pedals and never would because they rely on mystique to be sold at those price levels; performance does not warrant it. The Klon is a good example, IMHO. When I play through the pedal the dynamics are there and not overly compressed as with other overdrive pedals. Very transparent in that it does not color the tone of your guitar. Tone suck is minimal. Bass and treble controls actually work and work well. I was looking for a good overdrive pedal to use along with my Electro-Harmonix Glove pedal and this is the perfect compliment.

Two different animals. I have used many overdrive or preamp/overdrive pedals and this is the only one that once I pressed it on I didn't go 'oh man there goes my mids' and have to redial in my amp. Also this is the first pedal that I've run with the blend at maximum. With every other pedal I've used the blend is usually around 50-60%, but the sound from this pedal is incredible!!! It takes my bass and adds punch with a hint of grit or a huge amount depending on the pedal settings. Not distortion, but sweet sweet tubey overdrive. I run my P-bass into the BOD400, then into an SVT3PRO and through an Ampeg BXT410 cabinet.

It's just glorious! Woody and warm with slight tube compression.

I don't like fuzz and never use my 'drive' pedals for more than a hint of grit. The bad: it's a bit noisy especially on single coils. It can be tamed a bit by lowering treble as that seems to be where it's coming from. I also put a noise gate after which helps. The noise is barely noticeable on humbucker ls, even my high output ones. Overall it's livable and not too noticeable while playing. You get what you pay for.The good: it sounds amazing.

I'm blown away. Previously I was using the donner boost on my clean channel to get my buckers into a slight breakup but couldn't get anywhere close on my strat with singles. This pedal fixed that in a hurry! It give so much clear grit that was exactly how I wanted. It give a solid rock n roll bite to all my guitars. When turned on with my distortion channel I get an immense sound. On my 7 string with titan.
