Heat Signature Devices

I just noticed that you can use Unknown Devices ('Unknown' is the type/rarity of all items from collection missions); Their item type is also revealed on the retirement screen when you select it. (also the shape is a hint, I believe)Now, I experimented a bit with it, and in about 5 missions I only had various un-rechargable items, although at least one of them was a 3-charge extreme long-range keycloner.Did somebody already find rechargeable variants?Does anybody know of ways to identify their properties beyond the type, apart from using them? I figured this out too. Now whenever I steal one of those weird unknown items, I like to test it out to see what it actually does. I've gotten some awesome gear that way.PROTIP:DO NOT test it out immediately upon grabbing it - if it turns out to be a one-use item, you just failed the mission due to losing it, or it could, for example, turn out to be something loud and destructive like a gun or grenade launcher when you were trying to be stealthy. (One of my 'unknown items' turned out to be a rapid-fire shotgun.)INSTEAD, take it to a friendly station and test it out in the SIMULATOR to figure out what it does. Remember that the sim lets you use whatever equipment you have on you without using actual ammo or charges, great for practicing with new equipment!

Section 8 prejudice backwards compatible. Section 8: Prejudice is the sequel to 2009's Section 8, which introduced, uh, Section 8: a group of cybernetic crazy people fired from orbit into battle wearing nothing but their armor. I said it was a great hook. At its heart, Section 8. Section 8: Prejudice has learned too much from the mistakes of its predecessor, but it isn't strong enough to become a clear choice in its genre. The game offers many hours of fun thanks to a fast-paced and fun multiplayer mode, but it still lacks of more depth, more options and a better use its potential. Anyway, it is a good example of FPS. Section 8: Prejudice explores well-worn territory, but a smart campaign and volatile competitive mode make this shooter rise above its generic aesthetic. Games All Games News.

EOTech thermal vision devices can be used day or night in any weather condition. The technology relies on infrared light (heat) emissions, so the devices can detect people, animals, and vehicles at great distances. Our systems use the highest thermal sensitivity available. There are a number of ways to obscure your thermal signature to avoid being detected: Insulating your heat from the imager, such as the wool blanket. The more effective the insulation, the more time you have bought yourself. Spreading your heat over a larger surface area. Your body has a finite surface area.

That is what the sim is for! Originally posted by:I figured this out too.
