Another eden wiki. The Tower of Druaga: The Sword of Uruk is a Japanses anime television series and is the second season of the Tower series, the first simply being called, The Tower of Druaga. The show is based upon an old and successful arcade game wherein the player played as King Gilgamesh who sought the mystical blue crystal rod at the top of the Tower of Druaga which is ruled over by the demon-god, Druaga himself, a ominous and fear-inspiring entity (Druaga is based off of the Zoroastrian god of the same name who is the god of devils). The goal is to get the rod and use its power to rescue the princess of Ishtar. The first season of the show follows very closely to this story arc.The second season however takes place a year and a half after the events of the first and follows Jil, a young guardian from a foreign land who seeks to climber the tower to confront ghosts from her past that haunt her. 1 decade agoJil and his gang proceed through the Floor of the Dried-up Lake.

They arrive at a giant grave of a dragon scattered with its skeletal remains, where Neeba and the injured Kaaya had been taking a rest. Jil inadvertently becomes a decoy to attract Specula, when he reunites with Neeba.

Specula is still on their pursuit, and Gremica, Neeba's archery master, also arrives. Neeba is forced to come to terms with his past; his complicated relation between his half brother Jil, and his breakaway from Gremica who had been his mentor; which drives him toward a certain future.

1 decade agoOn the Floor of the Rainforest, Jil is targeted by an assassin working for Gremica. Then, two more assassins appear. Meanwhile, Neeba and Kaaya are churning their way through the Floor of the Lake. In their conversation, Kaaya advocates the graciousness of God, but Neeba replies with frustration that God is capricious.

These two are also attacked by two assassins. The four assassins are droids with the spirits of the four knights that used to guard Druaga. Neeba speculates that they come from the caskets that Pazuz had been carrying. The ones attacking Jil are Mite and Specula. Jil, along with Fatina, Utu, and Henaro, struggle to put up a fight.

The ones attacking Neeba are Blood and Ice. Neeba is cornered, when Kaaya casts a powerful spell. 1 decade agoJil, Ki, and the gang arrive at the Shrine of Sky. The Golden Knights, as well as Melt and Coopa, who are all after Jil's gang, arrive shortly after and also enter the shrine. Inside, the evil god Druaga awaits them. Jil and the others engage in a battle with Druaga once again. In the midst of the fighting, Ki suddenly takes the form of an adult, and reveals to Jil all of the mysteries: Kaaya's wish, and why Jil had been betrayed.

What is the connection between Kaaya and Ki? The story moves on the Mythical Tower. 1 decade agoJil and his gang go to the Shrine of Emery, and find that their former comrade Melt has become a millionaire, after his success at managing a ski resort. Now being a wealthy man, Melt puts his connections with the army above his friendship with old party-mates and hands over Jil, Ki, and the gang to Uragon, and the gang is subsequently incarcerated. Meanwhile, the Ropers who are being exploited by Melt are planning an escape in the backyard of the resort. An avalanche occurs, and the escape of the Ropers begins. 1 decade agoSix months has passed from the conquering of Druaga.

King Gilgamesh had taken all the credit, and the former climbers who knew the truth were wasting their days away. Jil, who is unable to recover from the shock of Neeba and Kaaya disappearing in the 'Mythical Tower,' is reclusing himself in his room at the inn he is freeloading at. Fatina is working as a tour guide, and is watching over him sometimes with patience, sometimes with severity. One day, the two encounter a little girl who is being pursued by the army.
