This game, IMO, was incredibly over hyped and is currently incredibly overpriced. Look, I get it. Its a failed kickstarter indie game that has been in development for a long time with a small team behind it. Its just not that great though. I mean going by the $1 per hour value rule by itself this game is worth about $8. Say you really do care about supporting smaller developers and you really like the content tinyBuild puts out, ok, $15-$20 at most. $30 is just unreasonable.

Its youtube fodder plain and simple. The AI is a joke, 'Advanced AI' is downright false advertising. A toddler could outsmart this AI. Its hardly even an AI. All it does is respond to certain things you do. Like yeah if you bust through the windows every time there might be some bear traps there. Thats really the pinnacle of Artificial Intelligence in gaming?

This is without a doubt a wait for sale game, there are literally hundreds of other better games out there that deserve your $30. Submitted on 12/7/2019 Review title of Master Wolf6328Here's what Hello Neighbor is:Ok, here's the game: You have to run around your neighbors house solving puzzles, grabbing keys and stuff like that to unlock and break into his basement, all while he is trying to find you. It's actually a really cool game idea! The game has some problems.

For starters, the game has a TON of glithes. While most of them aren't game breaking, they can be annoying and the glithes that are game breaking are to the point where I have even seen some people lose all there progress and have to restart the entire game. Second, the game gets tedious. I have be honest, the only part of the game that I liked playing was the beginning. After that, It's gets really hard to play the game (for the wrong reasons) and the house is so big later on that it can get overwhelming.

Finally, the game just isn't scary. Whenever he sees you, music starts playing, meaning you almost always know when he is going to jumpscare you. Overall, I give it a 'meh'.

There are better horror games out there.
