Hey Everyone-loves to change a game avatar, even if its only aesthetically to suit their idea of awesome, just look at how many Rico skin mods where made for JC2.!! Lets at the very least, allow some different jackets etc.'
What a shame.Well, until until the modding community gets into gear.I Love the look of the game. In fact the only thing I don't like is the standard Rico. So I think I will wait until some mods skins are available to buy it.And as odd as that sounds. Where one person thinks a certain way, Others ALWAYS do.Case in point. It was the very FIRST question in the Q&A linked.
Says something.!Oh well I suppose one upside is, it will be cheaper. Which is not a major factor. But I don't want to spoil it by playing with this particular protagonist look. Which I think looks. (lets be nice).not great.Again thanks for the info.

It just compounds the blunder of making one outfit, and expecting EVERYONE to like it.And lets be honest, how difficult would it have been to give (the option) of a different jacket, military sweater, Kevlar design etc.

Hell, I didn't even really want to play as Rico to begin with, I wanted a completely customizable protagonist, with gender selection, face customization, the whole shebang. I figured if they're giving us a game with so much freedom where you can do whatever you want, they should also let you BE whoever you want. But alas, it is what it is. And it could still have the exact same story, just calling the the protagonist Fox, or Hawk or some such. A none gender specific agent code name, for spoken and text dialogue, and mission briefings. And y'know what, even though as you say 'Its is what it is' yes. Sadly this is true.But.And I thing you will agree. It still does not alter the fact in any way shape or form, even as you correctly put it 'Its is what it is ' to give us some form of customization of clothes, or hair, or Armour. Its like them saying 'You have ONE gun.

Deal with it'.OrThere is one ONE drivable vehicle. Cry me a river'Even just a change of freakin jacket. Without having to buy the DLC to allow this.Sigh.Rant over. ☺And anyway, theres lots of great games coming out this year and start 2016, Hitman, Sword Coast Legends, Dragons Dogma, No Mans Sky, Black Ops 3, Battlefronts etc etc etc.I will deffo purchase JC3, but I can wait for more 'look' options' before buying. This is not the sims. Comparing it to guns and vehicles is ridiculous. You would not complain that Agent 47 can not be a teenage girl.
You would not complain the main character in an asscreed game has defined looks.Rico is not a blank slate. You can not just put anything there and pretend it's him. I understand how that is not necessarily obvious to someone who did not really play the previous games, but it does not mean they do not exist. You are obviously happy with how he looks. And I am happy for your happiness.
