To do: There's a lot of unused sounds including leftover stuff from Tekken 2 such as Kazuya's 2+4 throw and voices and Nina/Anna's voices. |
WELCOME TO THE KING OF IRON FIST TOURNAMENT 3.
The third entry in the Tekken series added 3D stages and several new characters, but also lost some old familiar faces in the process.

To do: Get a snapshot of the Tekken Force henchmen hidden in this version. |
Placeholder data for two removed characters, Jun and Sake, can be found in the game's data and can be accessed by using MAME cheat files. Kazuya's name is also mentioned in the data, though only in text.
Jun uses Nina's character model, and Jin's move set. Her portrait and voice are in the game, but are Tekken 2 resources.
Sake uses Yoshimitsu's model and Jin's move set. Originally, Kuma was planned to have a giant salmon as a weapon, and Sake was going to serve as a joke 'mid-boss' that was just the salmon, flopping around on the ground. In the end, the fish was cut due to the concern of customers being rightfully pissed at paying 100 yen to play as a floppy kipper. Sake has no voice or portrait, and uses Paul's icon on the high score table, and Yoshimitsu's model with Jin's move set. As a side note, the announcer pronounces the name as 'Shaa-kee'.
Crow, Falcon, Hawk, and Owl are all Tekken Force members that use Jin's move sets and later show up as henchmen in the PlayStation version's Tekken Force mode, but are only playable via hacking. Pinball fx3 cabinet mode.
Both unused characters use Eddy's stage and the secret character theme music.
