GoofsAs young Indy, played by the late River Phoenix, is trying to evade Fedora and his men, he is not wearing any gloves during the chase. Fedora then calls down to Indy in the lions den boxcar to toss the whip up so he can pull him out and retrieve the cross. As he's pulling him up, Indy is now seen wearing a glove on his right hand and holding some sort of contraption that wasn't there before.

The scene cuts very fast and I'm sure back in 1988, the filmmakers weren't thinking about DVD's and the pause-step feature for movie buffs to capture all the mistakes and goofs that were made.
